INCIDENT SUMMARY:
The Township of Kalamazoo Police Department is investigating a missing person.  Family members advised TKPD that
Robert Clark Brown has been missing for up to two weeks, has not been taking his proper medications, and may be in
need of medical attention. Investigation shows Mr.  Brown was last seen in Lansing MI on April 12th, 2012 at the Drop Inn
Center on Cherry St.  Mr. Brown suffers from both medical and mental conditions and may have left the Kalamazoo area
without his medications. No foul play is suspected in this case, however the family and the Township of Kalamazoo Police
are requesting assistance in locating him.
A photograph of Mr. Brown is attached for release. Anybody with any information as to his whereabouts is asked to

Robert Clark Brown is a black male, 57 yrs old, medium build, either bald or short hair.

INCIDENT TYPE:                Breaking & Entering        

DATE OCCURRED:        Sunday, April 15, 2012   TIME: 2:30 A.M.

LOCATION OCCURRED:        2600 block Douglas Avenue, Kalamazoo Township

INCIDENT SUMMARY:

The Township of Kalamazoo Police Department responded to an alarm at a gas station in the 2600 block of Douglas
Avenue.  Officers discovered a broken window and evidence entry had been made into the business, where several items
had been stolen.  During the course of the investigation, a suspect was developed and a search warrant was executed at the
suspect’s residence in the 2200 block of Gull Road.  During the search, stolen property was recovered along with
additional evidence linking the 34 year old Kalamazoo man to the burglary.  The suspect was lodged at the Kalamazoo
County Jail on charges of breaking and entering a business, and possession of burglary tools.
